Backstory

(Dragonologist) Dragons are among the most dangerous and magical of creatures in the world, wizarding or otherwise. I was first intrigued by them when I was standing in Gregorovich’s wand shop and he handed me a wand made of Hornbeam and Dragon Heartstring. I was fascinated by the way the wand felt in my grip, wild and untamed. I adored the creatures as a young child and found my first dragon when I was just 14. It was a wounded Whelp, a female. She just lay on the ground unmoving. I examined her body and found the traces of bite marks, like she had been attacked by a rogue dragon. There I sat, trying desperately to stop the bleeding. I gazed into her huge brown eyes, full of power and rage, and yet so innocent and helpless. She gazed back and in that moment, we became attached to each other's soul.

I raised that injured baby dragon, and named her Phoenix. We have been soulmates ever since that fateful day, and have never left each other's side. She has saved my life more than once, that’s for sure! On countless occasions I have been distracted while on my tours to save dragon species, always intrigued by the wild and powerful aura that beams from dragons and their pure personalities. Phoenix has saved my life from rogue dragons and dark witches and wizards, and for that, I am eternally grateful to her. She is my heart and soul.
