Background
Reyna is of Indian descent and was born to Pure Blood Ministry employees Veda Khan (Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, Obliviator Headquarters) and Arjun Devani (Department of International Magical Cooperation, Diplomat) in Nice, France where her father was currently living for his job as a liaison between the English and French Ministries of Magic. Less than a year after she was born, the Devani family moved back to London. There, Reyna spent most of her childhood surrounded by the magical world, though she herself couldn’t immerse herself in it quite yet. Each and every day, her parents kept a close eye on her (or, more often than not, various nannies instead of Veda or Arjun, due to their fairly demanding jobs), just in case any sign of her magical abilities decided to materialize at any second of any day. After five years of being cross-examined by nearly every adult who was responsible for looking after her, one day the pages of Reyna’s favorite book about the Hogwarts founders began to turn by themselves, precisely at the moment she needed to flip it. Soon enough, after six years of being homeschooled, Reyna finally set foot in the famed school that the people she’d heard of forever in her books and during conversations at the dinner table had created all those years ago.

Hogwarts Experience
Although apprehensive at starting school so far away from home, Reyna quickly realized that she quite liked the feeling of being away from her immensely overbearing (but well-meaning) parents. She immediately began to immerse herself into life at Hogwarts, from the second the Sorting Hat left her head after screaming “Ravenclaw!” into the Great Hall. In her first year, Reyna discovered that History of Magic and Transfiguration were her two favorite classes, with Alchemy and Ancient Runes being added to that list in her second year — all classes she’d never expected to take a liking to. Later, in an unexpected move, Reyna joined the Quidditch Team and later took a leadership role in it, where she thrived and got to showcase all of her newfound skills, both on the athletic and management sides. 

Reyna continues to make the most of her Hogwarts experience, by diving deep into every course that she takes and joining as many extracurriculars as humanly possible — a testament to the Sorting Hat’s success rate. Her current ambitions include reaching three thousand points and advancing to Third Year.
