Backstory

I once had a knack for studying, working hard, and behaving. Then my father was arrested and put into Azkaban for murdering 500 muggles and almost revealing the existence of magic to muggles. This was prevented with a mass obliviation which took ages to complete. After this, my mother became a raging alcoholic. I could never study properly, and I broke. I screamed at her, and our relationship was never the same. Now, while I do still study and work hard, I will always have my inner demons and a cold heart.
