Backstory
I was sorted into Gryffindor, although I initially wanted to be in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. In fact, the Sorting Hat spent a good few minutes deciding where to sort me - a true Hatstall. I’m starting first year at Hogwarts soon, but I have read up on a few potions and spells beforehand. I’m excited for Charms - from Alohomora to Expecto Patronum, charms play a significant role in every witch/wizard’s life, and there’s so much to explore! I’m also excited for Care of Magical Beasts, I’ve read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at least 5 times! There aren’t any classes I particularly dislike, although History of Magic isn’t as thrilling as casting spells and making potions, but I still find History insightful. I can keep up in Astronomy, but I must admit, it isn’t my favourite class. I’m muggleborn, and I lived in America and attended Muggle school until I received my Hogwarts acceptance letter (one of the most memorable days of my life)! My family moved to Britian, so it’s more convenient for me to return home during school break (I’m going to miss them while at Hogwarts...). My Muggle parents are supportive of me studying Witchcraft and Wizardry, even if they’re not comfortable with my Kneazle (I may have told them it was only a REALLY weird cat...). In my opinion, my greatest strength is my ability to remain calm when others provoke me or when I’m under pressure. Others have disagreed and told me that my greatest strength is instead my ability to learn quickly, and adapt. On the other hand, my greatest weakness is perhaps not willing to see the negative side of people (I always try to think positive). I’m considering becoming an Auror - I believe in fighting crime and serving justice - or a Healer - I’ve always admired creating/healing instead of destroying. I think the most fascinating aspect of magic is its versatility and that we can always invent new potions and spells. If I’m being honest with myself, I want my ideas to be taken seriously, and to fight for the things I believe are right. As mentioned above, I have a Kneazle called Wildfire. As his name implies, he’s sometimes uncontrollable - he is constantly fiery, and raging like fire when something is threatening (especially if it seems to threaten me, a Kneazle is a girl’s best friend). He’s orange with black stripes, analogous to a mini tiger.
