Backstory

I am a first year student sorted into Ravenclaw, unsurprisingly as considering me a genius would be an understatement. It took the sorting hat precisely 7.9 seconds to sort me into my house. As for my favorite classes, while being difficult to pick since most are interesting and relatively useful, I would have to pick transfiguration. My least favorite, and I sure most would agree from an intellectual point of view, would be divination. Although I find the information irrelevant in terms of my capacity for success with magic, I would to point out that I do not nor do I care to know my lineage in terms of pure-blood, half or muggleborn as I was brought up in an orphanage, and thus my blood status has little to no effect or interest to me in the wizarding world. My greatest strengths are my abilities to analyze situations and make level-headed decisions, detect minute details with relative ease, and make extremely good deductions through such empirical evidence, as well as having a large capacity for creativity and open-mindedness. My greatest weaknesses is my social skills which are lacking as well as seeming bizarre to most people mainly do to behavioral oddities as well as being rather condescending. As for careers pertaining to after completion of school, I'd probably pursue something with the ministry or an auror. It is hard to pinpoint what I find most fascinating about magic considering the amount of utility it provides, but I would consider the most useful aspects would be of the type that can either enhance or deceive the five senses. I find that I would use magic to further my goals to the furthest extent possible as most would, but as for my goals, I would generally want to help the magical community and do good. In the end, all I really want is to keep as many people safe in the community as possible.
