Life Before Hogwarts: Family wasn't close. After 4 y/o sister died from leukemia, family fell apart and neglected Jamie. She became selectively mute and only muttered short "yes"'s and "no"'s. She spent most of her time reading and drawing. She became very talented at art in general and read all about magic. When she went onto the Hogwarts Express, she stayed alone and quiet in her own compartment. She made no friends in the first few days. She goes to Hogsmeade when she can because her Aunt Mimi works at Honeydukes and she and her aunt are very close. She never made any friends in her first or second year. She just got her work done and stayed in the shadows. This third year she decided to talk more and to try to make friends.
