Mila Ilwyfen

Backstory

Mila Ilwyfen is the eldest daughter of Casilda and John Ilwyfen; as her mother is a witch but not her father, she's considered a half-blood witch. She has one little brother, John Gabriel Ilwyfen, five years younger than her.

Despite being a half-blood, her family was initially a pure-blood family, but has recently been considered a ''blood traitor'' and therefore disowned by the pure-blood families who still support the suppremacy of magic people over muggles, muggleborns and half-bloods. However, this doesn't bother her family at all, and especially her grand-mother, who used to be one of those supremacist until three of her four daughters married muggles. Despite her pure-blood pride, she loves her family and put it over everything else in the world, so she accepted their marriage.

Currently, the only branch of the family which still is a pure-blood is Casilda's elder brother, who married a pure-blood. How is it possible that six of the seven siblings of Casilda (including her) married either muggles, muggle-borns or half-bloods? Well, it's simply because Mila's family has always lived in a small town populated mostly by muggle families, so eventually all magical families had to marry them. This is also the reason why most of her cousins are squibs (due to a strong muggle influence)

Mila is a very creative girl, loyal to her friends and with a good sense for problems. She was never raised with the ''pure-blood suppremacy'' values, so she has always had a bit curiosity for muggles (as she was raised in her muggle town, she learned to appreciate her muggle side and see all the good things it could offer)
Her favourite hobbies are reading and drawing.
In her first year, she was sorted into Ravenclaw,

OTHER CURIOSITIES:

- It is not clear whether her brother inherited the magical gene or is a squib. However, if he would turn out to be a wizard, he would be sorted into Hufflepuff.

- Mila's mother was sorted into Slytherin during her Hogwarts student's period. This is suprising for a lot of people who still believe that every Slytherin member is a "pure-blood supremacist" and would never marry muggles.

- Her family is one of the fewest who is not attached to a particular hogwarts house, though most of Mila's aunts and uncles from her mother's side ended up in Slytherin.

- Although he surname ''Ilwyfen'' is a welsh word that means "Elm", it is also believed that it has a German origin, so she might has germanic origins as well.
