Backstory

I'm a Pure-blood, but with a squib father and a witch mother. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, as did a sister of mine. Three siblings were sorted into Slytherin, one into Hufflepuff, and one into Gryffindor. My favorite subjects were Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, and D.A.D.A., while my least favorite is History of Magic. Took Arithmancy and Divination as well. Seeing how my siblings and myself were sorted, you may realize that we do not share the same views, like for instance about the muggles and muggle-born wizards and witches. I was always fascinated with the philosophical aspects of wizardry, and I made it my goal to work in the Department of Mysteries. I have no ill feelings toward muggles and muggle-borns. I'm considered odd, weird, or aberrant, even by wizardry's standards, to the point that quite a few wizards avoid me. Some of them even think that I'm dabbling in the dark arts. I tend to consider myself a "Grey Wizard" and believe me, I have no interest whatsoever in using the dark arts on anybody. I just have a thirst for knowledge. I just want to know everything that is to be known.
