My name is Lycan Jared Edward Scamander (b. 16 June, 2006), I am a Pure-blood wizard. I am the eldest child of Rolf and Luna Scamander. Due to special circumstances I missed my first year at Hogwarts, which meant I had to do extra work to catch up, so that I could get to my second year.

I was born to Rolf and Luna Scamander on June 16, 2006, but then, one day, some goblins raided our house and snatched me away, luckily they dropped me at the doorstep of some very kind Muggles, their names were Thomas and Mallory Richardson. They took me in and renamed me Avery.

I grew up a regular Muggle kid who liked regular Muggle things. I loved to watch movies with my family: The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Chronicles of Narnia, The LEGO Movies, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, How to Train Your Dragon, and A Series of Unfortunate Events were the main ones. I also gained a love for reading, I always had a backpack with me which contained my most precious items: A copy of Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You, A copy of the Lord of the Rings, A copy of the History of Middle-earth, A copy of The Notorious Notations, The Chronicles of Narnia single volume, A copy of Book of Dragons (the actual book), A copy of The Ultimate Guide to the Dragons,my PlayStation Vita, LEGO Jurassic World for a Vita, LEGO The Lord of the Rings for a Vita, LEGO The Hobbit for a Vita, LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids for a Vita, and LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin for a Vita.

But that all changed one day when I went for a walk with my family out in the park on June 16, 2015, I was 9, and we saw some people walking towards us, the first was a tall and strong man, the next was a sweet looking woman, and next to them were two kids who were playing leap frog. The man came up to my dad and said, "How are you doing, my name is Rolf Scamander, this is my wife, Luna, and my sons, Lorcan and Lysander."

"I'm fine." said dad, "This here's my wife, Mallory, and my son, Avery." My dad talked with Rolf for a while, until Luna came over to me and greeted me. We talked and then Luna called for Rolf to come over and look at my left arm, which had been cut open by some sort of blade. My dad explained about how I was like that when they found me, with my left arm in shreds. Then, after further discussion we found out that I had once belonged to Rolf and Luna, and that I had been kidnapped at a very young age. I hugged Thomas and Mallory goodbye and embraced my new life with a new name: for I am Lycan Jared Edward Scamander!
