Backstory

My parents are both Muggles, and I grew up believing in magic. The Disney kind, mostly. My young siblings of course, believed everything I said, and so they believed in magic too. When the day came in late July that I received my letter, I was past magic. It was all CGF imaging. And then i heard the soft tapping at my window. Tap, tap, tap. And i got my letter. Of course, I had read everything I could get my hands on, so I thought I would end up in Ravenclaw, so when the hat sat on my head, I just waited for its shout. And waited. And waited. And waited. And then---"GRYFFYNDOR!!!" Well, watch out Potter, I'm about to be the next big star of the wizarding world!
