Backstory

My name is Paris Oliver Kingery. I was born in a pure-blood line of very powerful wizards. I am the last child of 6, the burdened child per se. In my family, the last child born will be the most powerful in that generation. With that responsibility comes great danger. Every generation before me has fought the most powerful enemies and gave up their lives to succeed in defeating the enemy. Not me. The burden of this responsibility and my destiny is not something I want. I know I can't change or deny my responsibility but I can change my destiny... well... at least try to. I'm going to be the first generation in my family to succeed in my responsibility and still live to see the next generation do the same. (The last person in my family is called Tandem, Latin for last. They survive long enough to have children and then disaster strikes.)
