Backstory

Hi. My name's Zhy and I was sorted into Gryffindor because I am brave and courageous. I was a hatstall meaning it took quite long for the Sorting Hat to choose me. I enjoy Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA), Charms (CHRM) and Care for Magical Creatures (CMC). My least favourite subject is Ancient Runes. I am Pureblood but believe all witches and wizards should be treated the same. Being a Pureblood people tend to try and talk down Muggle-borns or Halfbloods to me and I tell them that everyone is equal. I was in the UK at the time Lord Voldemort rose to power and it was hard for everyone in the Wizarding World and out. Even Muggles sensed that something was wrong. There was a change that made you question everything. My greatest strength would have to be my intelligence which has saved me a few times and the Sorting Hat was torn between choosing Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. My greatest weakness is my impulsiveness which usually gets me in trouble. After I finish school, I want to be an Auror and if that doesn't happen I would like to work in the Ministry in any way. The most fascinating aspect of magic for me is that not everybody is able to do it which makes me feel like I was chosen to be in the Wizarding World. Also, the fact that there are no limits, you can do almost anything. I would like to use magic to help others, Muggles and Witches/Wizards.
