Backstory

Nobody said it would be easy to be a Hufflepuff in her first year at Hogwarts, considering that fact that I come from a pureblood family of Slytherins. So, when they were informed that I was sorted into Hufflepuff instead, all but my father seemed to be okay with the news. He tried his best to ask for a retake, as there had to have been some mistake in his daughter's sorting, but it was all in vain. I tried to tell him that many times before, even to this very day, but he just isn't having it. Besides, it's not like the sorting hat didn't want to put me into Slytherin, which it strongly suggested doing so, but I felt that it just wasn't something I wanted to be known as. Plus, being placed in the same house meant that I'd have to one day take over my father's firm within the Ministry of Magic, as was my father's wishes for my future. So, on a whim, I decided to try and go for Hufflepuff instead. Sounds a bit selfish if you think about it but, knowing all the things I know now and the friends I've made along the way, I don't regret it one bit!

My best class at the moment would have to be Potions, seeing as I've been known to be pretty handy when it comes to whipping up a quick brew before an exam! I tend to use them to stay focused and alert, though, never to cheat. I learned my lesson the last time I tried to pull that off in my history class earlier this year. Aside from that, I also have a strong passion for Care of Magical Creatures and Defense Against the Dark Arts, mostly because of all the hands on work.

When I’m not studying, however, you can probably find me playing chilling in the Great Hall with some friends or practicing my skills on my broomstick out on the Quidditch Field. Not that I'm on the Quidditch team or anything, but as a hobby...
