Backstory

I was homeschooled with magic since my muggle father wanted a normal public education for me and my mother who is a half-blood wanted me to be educated in magic they compromised. I went to public school and graduated in 2013 and before after school activates she would give me small assignments between worksheets and researching potion ingredients. After I graduated I decided to enroll at Ilvermorny and was there for 2 years. I skipped classes a lot, never paid attention and eventually I was asked to leave. My father could care less since he didn't see a real importance of the Magic World compared to the No-Maj life. My mother is the opposite. She believes I should advance my skills further with proper education while balancing a No-Maj life and job.

I was then told about Hogwarts but seeing how I don't have the funds to transfer and the fact enrollment is complicated for an exchange student, I was told about the online courses and decided to try it out. This way I can still maintain my No-Maj lifestyle and practice magic in my spare time in my apartment in Upstate NY.

Not sure what degree I'm going for or what I want out of it besides skill and knowledge but who knows. Im excited for DADA and Potions.

Here to make some friends as well. Anyone in the Upstate area lets hang out sometime and practice some dueling together.
