Backstory

I’m a proud Ravenclaw. The sorting hat took a while to sort me because it wasn’t sure if I was a Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. It let me decide. I’m looking forward to charms and Astronomy. I’m not sure what classes I’ll like or what I’ll be good at. I’m a muggleborn and I live in America. I guess I’ll be new to being a witch and to living in the UK. My blood status won’t affect me. If anyone bothers me about being muggleborn, I’ll just ignore them. I honestly don’t care. Since I live in America, the days when You-Know-Who ruled didn’t affect me as badly. At the time, I didn’t know witches and wizards even existed. But still, even muggles in America knew something funny was going on. I’m not really sure what my greatest strength or weakness is. I don’t really know who I am or who I want to be yet. I know that after I finish school I want to get a good paying job, settle down somewhere, and maybe be a part time author. To me, Magic represents hope and kindness. We witches and wizards are lucky enough to possess magic powers. In exchange for being able to use magic to help us in our daily lives, we should help others who are not able to use magic (aka muggles). I don’t know what I want most. Probably for myself and others to be happy or something along those lines. I have twin brothers and a loving mom and dad. (All of which are muggles). I also have a dog and a hamster. My family is very supportive of me being a witch and I am so excited to be starting my first year at Hogwarts schoo of witchcraft and wizardry.
