Backstory

Although I am a pure blood, my parents are no longer together. Both remarried - my mother who was in Slytherin herself married a man from Gryffindor. Though he was very brave, he was also manipulative and irrational. My father, who was in Ravenclaw, married a muggle woman who, despite being unable to use magic, became an encyclopedia of knowledge on magical plants and creatures. With so many different elements coming together to create who I am now, I hope to succeed at Hogwarts. I am certain I'm a Slytherin - I am clever and resourceful. However, I am also brave and smart. While Slytherin may define who I am now, the creativity found in Ravenclaw defines who I hope to be as I pursue my studies at Hogwarts and explore creative writing and storytelling.

When I graduate from Hogwarts, I'm not sure what I'd like to do - other than write books. Perhaps I could become the next Gilderoy Lockhart, except my books would be about my own adventures. Or perhaps I could write books in my free time while I devote my career to teaching young witches and wizards, like my father, or being a healer, like my grandmother. The possibilities are endless, and that is a book that I have yet to write. However, I am certain the first chapter will be the first Hogwarts course I choose to enroll in.
