Lucy Anderspell

Backstory

Born to one muggle and one witch, there has always been magical traces within the family from healers to enchanters. Lucy is one of 5 siblings who is the only child that possesses a magical gift. naturally, this makes her more competitive over her siblings as their parents treat them all equally but she knows she's something more than 'muggle'. Despite her mother being a witch, the family lives a muggle life, no magic, no mention of magic, nothing out of the ordinary. Due to this, Lucy would not know much of her history, nor would she be able to produce any magic of her own. Once the letter arrived from Hogwarts, Lucy and her mother began a quiet friendship which would bloom over time and give Lucy the information she would need before leaving to Hogwarts. Lucy would contact her mother frequently while away yet leave her father and siblings out of the loop, feeling they weren't wanting to be involved in the magical aspect of her life.


Lucy is friendly, quiet and kind. Her confidence shows when she needs it the most, but solitary is her preferred way to be left. She often finds spells difficult due to her lack of education in earlier life, but persistence pays off and she'll eventually learn over time. She has met her patronus only once and it was purely by accident when trying to cast a different spell, from the few seconds she saw it, it was what looked like a cat.
