Brittany Black

Backstory

Brittany doesn't know much about her biological parents, seeing as the were never around as she grew up. She was always had a nanny at her home with her, so she doesn’t know if she has a sibling that is with her parents or not. Due to her parents always lying to her, saying they would be home soon, Brittany has extreme trust issues.

When it came to her 11th birthday, Brittany was worried she wouldn't get her Hogwarts owl. Her nanny that she had that day attempted to distract her from the fact that an owl was to arrive, but she kept staring out every window possible. Finally, here came a Barn Owl flying over the horizon. "NANNY! MY OWL ARRIVED!"

Brittany knew that Slytherin was the main Hogwarts house for her family, and she definitely wanted to follow in her family's footsteps and be sorted there. Whenever someone on the Hogwarts Express asked her what house she wanted to be in, she proudly stated, "I want to be in Slytherin!"

She arrived to Hogwarts, anxious and eager. The castle was ENORMOUS and sent her into a state of shock. After the boat ride across the Black Lake, she entered the school for the first time and braced herself for the Sorting. As the first years were marched into the Great Hall, she felt all eyes on them, so she shrank back a tad bit. Names were called and, eventually, her name was yelled across the large hall.

As soon as the Sorting Hat was placed upon her head, the hat screamed, "SLYTHERIN!" A grin broke out upon Brittany's face as she handed the hat back and dashed to the Slytherin table, where everyone was clapping for her. She found a seat and sat with her new Hogwarts Family, hoping that maybe this would be a better family then she had back home. But first, she had to learn to trust people.
