Backstory

Although I was born to a muggle mother and a wizard father, I was raised without knowledge of magic - up until I did my first accidental magic. My parents didn't know if I would have magic or not, so they raised me in the nonmagical world until I was four - when I couldn't reach the books on the top shelf and accidentally floated myself up to reach them! I was a bookworm throughout my time growing up, and loved reading about adventures almost as much as I loved finding them - in trees, in rivers, etc. When I got my Hogwarts letter, I was thrilled! And I was shocked to find that I was a Hufflepuff - I had expected Ravenclaw. I was happy with my new house, though, especially with the compassion that most of my housemates valued. Studying magic has grown my interest in a number of different fields: curse breaker, researcher, experimental charms, healer.... I'm not sure where I'm headed yet, but I want to do something that helps people - and something that also challenges me and lets me have some fun at the same time! For now, though, I'd like to finish up my magical education before I have to start making any major decisions on my career path.
