Backstory

(Younger Student)
When I received my letter from Hogwarts that faithful day, I did not know what it would mean. At first I thought it was just a joke, you know? My older brother sometimes teased me or blamed me when weird things happened in the house. How was it supposed that I knew that normal pencils could not write in all the colors of the rainbow ?, although I can not say the same about my younger brother who at the time he saw the letter told me to swear that he would take it to see dragons. Anyway, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they thought they would like me. Boy, the expression on their faces when we stopped at the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign read "The Leaky Cauldron" instead! The innkeeper was a strange but friendly man, and the goblins were much nicer once they showed him the due respect they deserve a warrior race. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was picking up a potions book. I could end up with "Filters and magic potions" before school starts, however I should use all my persuasion skills, chantage, among others if I want to be able to enter the kitchens and cook a little (if what they say about the elves is true, I might have to make a name earlier than planned)
