Backstory

Being born into the Buttersworth family, my parents have had high expectations for me and my twin sister our whole entire lives. We were always the hyper bunch, getting into quite a few messes. When we got a letter from Hogwarts, our parents were excited to see us hopefully sorted into the Hufflepuff house, as it was the house our family was associated with for ages.

When the time came, we obviously went to Hogwarts for our first day, and I was sorted into Hufflepuff. My sister, however, was sorted into Gryffindor. My parents were somewhat shocked, somewhat expecting of my sister’s fate, but were glad to see me in Hufflepuff, keeping the tradition going.

Well, I should probably introduce myself.

My name is Alexis, Alexis Butterworth. I carry my surname with silent pride and my sister is right beside me. I am the younger twin of Aurora Butterworth (by at least 15 minutes), and she kind of likes to shove that in my face, but I still love her, kind of hard not to when your mom carried the both of you for nine months and were born on the same day.

I am more or less the tamer one of the two. My sister usually will boast about her achievements and being fifteen minutes older than me, while I just kind of accept it. I’m moreso quiet and loyal to those that gain my trust, though that isn’t hard. I care more about quality than quantity so my friend group probably won’t be the biggest, but I am glad to have the opportunity I have to be here. I plan to make my stay welcome and (hopefully) peaceful.

A few of my interests include Quidditch, Potions, and spending time with my friends! I also enjoy studying more than my sister does, however...

My wand is nothing of importance, in my opinion, the only thing that matters is that it’s mine and suited for me, not you. Please don’t try to use it.

And now, I guess you want my appearance, because that’s guy’s like, appearances now outweigh a girl’s personality.

I am, quite short, 4’11.5” to be exact. My hair is a light blonde, goes a little below my shoulders, and is curly/wavy, kind of a mixture of both. While my sister has “amazing” bright blue eyes that reflect the ocean, I have a more fuller blue color, it’s more grey than blue. Kind of like the color of light blue jeans, I guess. With that as well, I have a thing known as “central heterochromia” that gives my eyes a slightly hazel green orb around my pupil. My limbal ring exists, and it’s practically visible as it accents my eyes with a darker shade. My sister, admittignly, has better eyesight than I do, I require glasses to see. Hope that doesn’t bother you too much. What my sister lacks in the bottom she has on the top, what I lack on the top I have on the bottom, to say the least. In other words muggle teenagers use these days, you could say my “milkshake brings the boys to the yard.”

Before you get too confused about my heritage, yes, my family is pure-blood and so am I. The only reason I have any (though I barely have any) knowledge of muggles is because of my grandfather; he was obsessed with them and told me a few stories of his research. I didn’t really understand why he was interested, but oh well, it made him happy.
