Backstory

What’s up y’all. My name is Kelly and I live in Texas. I know what you are thinking if I am from American why am I going to Hogwarts. Well I was born in Loudon, England and when I was 5 we move to Texas. We sold our home but I would go back on spring break every other spring to stay with my Grandma. My life is crazy so when I received my Hogwarts Letter that busy day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first I thought it was just a joke, ya know? My brother sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. How was I supposed to know regular water in a glass just doesn’t start boiling out of nowhere? Anyway, my parents were going to go out in London anyway and they figured we should go explore because it was our last day till we would go home back. Y'all should have seen it, the look on their face when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The manager was an old and odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was looking at brooms. A girl told me that they were used to play some hard competitive sport. I just love sports back at home I play tons of sports. I play ice hockey for a boys team, I am a soccer goalie, I play Football where I am a running back. I love to ride horses on my farm and try to do that in some spare time, I play pick up with my friends back at home whenever possible. I swim on my summer swim team, row for my crew team in the summer and I do cross country and track for fun some years. As I said a lot. Because of this most of my friends are guys but I have a bunch of friends who are girls but normal they are athletes. All they know about me leaving is that I am going to a Boarding school in Canada because of a Ice Hockey, and Football scholarship. I will miss them so much but I will also miss playing sports. Got to be honest with y’all this really isn’t my idea being here. I had plans to be the first girl skater in the NHL or the first female running back in the NFL.I hope it is nice here or I will gladly leave. See y’all later.
