Backstory

Monika’s life was always a little bit crazy due to her ability to change her appearance at will. Well yes, she is a Metamorphmagus and she really loved this rare ability from the very beginning. Just a few hours after her birth she changed her hair colour for the first time and since then she did it almost every week.

Monika’s father Parker Johnson was a British half-blood Ravenclaw, very intelligent and eager. Her mother was a German Muggle with a great believe in Magic even though she never had proof before meeting Parker. When Parker and Enna first met, they immediately fell in love and learned from each other. Enna became more confident and reliable and Parker got a deeper understanding of empathy and loyalty. Just one year later Enna got pregnant. After Monika was born, she and her mother learned everything about the magical world. Monika was home-schooled by her father and he expected a lot from her. Monika became therefore a curious and open-minded person. When she got her Hogwarts letter, both her father and her mother were very proud.

Monika’s deepest wish since she was a little girl was to help others. She never was afraid of putting herself in danger to achieve this lifegoal. When she was only eight years old, she ran into a burning house and rescued a puppy. A year later, she encouraged a young Russian girl named Nadjeschda, which she met at a hospital, to enjoy life and never give up. The two girls became close friends but soon after Nadjeschda died from cancer. After that dramatic incident, Monika asked her parents to change her last name. Neither Parker nor Enna liked this idea but they understood the meaning of this request and changed the name a few months later after careful deliberation. Due to Monika’s courage and bravery, the Sorting Hat has put her obviously into Gryffindor and since then Monika’s hair colour became a steady Scarlet.
