Backstory

"Slytherin!" the hat cried out only after a long time. The sorting hat saw bravery, intelligence, and determination. I valued all of these equally, which meant I could have been sorted into Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. The hat, after delving deeper into my mind, saw that I thought strategically and did not waver from my goals, and I could be cunning when necessary, which resulted in me being a serpent. Defence Against the Dark Arts is what truly interests me. Potions could give me glory and help me strive for my goals.Being a pure-blood, Voldemort would have sought me as a follower, which was tempting considering finally being able to feel at home and not be judged by other students because of my house. However, I wanted to be an Auror, so I would not have followed the Dark Lord. The most fascinating aspect of magic are the hexes and jinxes, hence my interest in the Dark Arts. Being in a rich, traditional family, I am pressured to strive higher than anyone and be a great witch that would be one of the most powerful.
