Backstory

Hi! I'm Grimsley. You may not remember me, but odds are you've probably met me. I'm that guy who you try to talk to via the floo network because that weird thing your aunt gave you and you kept i the attic for five years is making weird sounds and OH MY GOD IT'S GLOWING AND HOVERING AND SOMEBODY HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ministry hired me to deal with that sort of thing, because there are thousands of "family heirlooms" that have the potential to kill us all. Like all good magical people ( by which I mean witches, wizards, and all the other words for us in other cultures) I was educated at hogwarts. I was kicked out later for becoming an unlicensed animagus (total bullshit, BTW. I was three minutes late in giving the required forms to the ministry, it wasn't anything like the stuff with the marauders(their map is actually one of the things I'm specifically supposed to monitor)) but apparently, this online school let's people like me in as long as we committed a crime small enough to avoid azkaban. Thus, here I am.(Yes, that's it. I'm a human being who has the right to privacy and doesn't particularly feel like outlining every emotion, worry, and aspiration I have ever experienced)
