Backstory

The road to a better life may be long, but it is beautiful.

Sometimes you just need to do what you need to do.
For the better. For the greater, no for the greatest, good.
And sometimes, that means letting go.
I have bittersweet feelings about leaving HiH.
I've met some amazing people who I care about.
I've enjoyed a lot of it.

And yet...
I'm unhappy.
It's not enough. It will never be enough.
When I joined HiH, I made a bunch of friends.
We shared the same interest in this book series.
We would talk all the time.
Nobody went out of their way to cause drama.
It was good.

Then, people started hating, pretending to be celebrities.
Suddenly it was cool to be a jerk.
One by one more of my friends left, or went quiet.

So...
I'm sorry for this rant.
But I needed to get this out.
'Cause in order to be anywhere, you have to start walking.
And I think leaving, is the first step to a more productive life.
I need to focus on people.
On grades.
On expanding my knowledge, and getting my life together.
On rebuilding trust where it's been broken.

So goodbye.
