Backstory

I always knew that I was unusual. Different. The day I got the letter telling me that I was invited into Hogwarts I was shocked. My parents were never really around in my childhood. They were always away. I only just learned that they were actually Aurors, defeating those who follow the Dark Arts. My grandma brought me up for most of my childhood. She told me grand stories about magic. I never thought they were true though. My grandma never showed me magic, whenever I asked she just said it was all in the power of the mind. I can't believe there is actually a wizard world out there. My grandma was so proud that I was accepted into Hogwarts, she said it was an honour. All of my family went to Hogwarts. Both of my parents were in Gryffindor but my grandma was in Ravenclaw. I really want to be in Ravenclaw like my grandma. My grandma says it doesn't matter what house I get accepted into, but I can tell she thinks I will be in Ravenclaw. I can't wait to start my Hogwarts journey.
