Backstory

I'm a pure-blood, and my mum is a Metamorphmagus. She was always changing her looks until eventually, she reminded me of one of those plastic surgery horror stories. She was never satisfied with her appearance and despite my father and siblings' persuasive efforts, she kept going. A year before I, the eldest of siblings, went off to Hogwarts, she left us to search for more ways to change herself in the darkest parts of the Wizarding world. My dad worried that she would take it too far, maybe to a Dark Magic level, but I'm not so bothered. She'll do what she needs to do, being the selfish woman she is. In school, I really want to pursue healing and expand the mental health side of magic. Maybe if there had been a better support system in place out there, someone like my mother could have stayed with us and not gone crazy over her abilities. I'm determined to do everything I can to get the best job out there and change healing for the better.
