Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffindor, due to my humorous personality and bravery when with friends. Although, it took the Sorting Hat 6 and 3/4 minutes to decide between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, because of my unbounded curiosity and tendence to creativity. Favourite classes are Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms, the least liked was Divination. I was an all-rounder, having been prolific in most classes, yet not much in Divination for example due to my rational personality. Despite being good at most classes, I was't very talented, it was mostly my effort and creativity who got me there (At the exception of DADA and Charms, two of which I was rather a natural at). I'm a muggleborn wizard, which hadn't affected much my life in the Wizarding World, due to my humor, rationality and developped skills, which got me respect from the community around me. I was in the UK when Voldemort rose to power the second time, despite having been great friends with Neville Longbottom (whose enthusiasm made me enjoy the Herbology classes a little more), I didn't return to school that last year, due to both my blood heritage and most of all the belief that Hogwarts wasn't home anymore. Instead, I traveled the UK in search for ways to defeat the Dark Lord, one of those was the spell "Clamor Fulminis" of my own invention (with the previous help of Dumbledore, who invited me along the years at Hogwarts to his office to help me with my natural talent for spell invention, securing my safety....learned a lot from the "best Headmaster Hogwarts has ever seen"....yet this particular spell only got concluded in that last year), a spell which conjures (depending on the user's necessity and rage) a soundwave and a lightning. In the Battle of Hogwarts I saved Hary, Ron and Hermione from a giant who almost got them in the midst of confusion with the spell I developped. In that same battle I defeated 3 highly skilled Death Eaters, two of them at the same time (with a great dose of luck and some of Dumbledore's advices that stuck in my mind). My greatest strengths are my originality and imagination. My ultimate weakness is my lazyness and perhaps my common isolation...which is both a strength and a weakness...I'm an ambivert. I've later graduated from Hogwarts, the year after the battle and I've been traveling, researching and inventing new spells and helping the Ollivander family to learn more about Wandlore. For three years, after one year of travel, I played Chaser for the Appleby Arrows, during which time I won with them the European Cup and later participated in the Quidditch World Cup, being Portugal's Chaser. The most fascinating aspect about magic is that it is ultimately a way to express oneself, such as an art. The most graditifcating aspect though is that it saves so much time when it's time to do chores at home, which I hate so much. I want to use magic to help others while furthering my own ends. My current pet is Loki, an Augurey (or Irish Phoenix, aquired after Hogwarts through Hagrid), named after the Norse God of Mischief, due to the fact of being a misunderstood beast, such as the norse god in question. I had a tabby cat named Hank, while studying at Hogwarts, who died protecting me from a curse of one of the two Death Eaters I fought on the Battle of Hogwarts. Hank was as wild as kind. Loki is as intelligent as can be and particularly adventurous for a bird which inspires despair. Not much can be said about my muggle family as they don't know the existence of Hogwarts, I, although, suspect that my maternal grandfather was a wizard, more particularly a magical blacksmith. My wand is an ancient Acacia wood, phoenix core, 14 1/2 inches (I'm a tall guy) and brittle flexibility wand, with the particularity that Mr. Garrick Ollivander had it stacked in his shop for over 150 years (not just him, his family of course) and no one had ever been choosen by it. The phoenix core, curiously, belongs to the mother of Fawkes, which might explain the fact that it was so attached to me during the time I spent in Dumbledore's office.
