Backstory

I am American.
My mother is English.
My father is American.
I am magical.
My mother is magical. My father is not.

Mum always wished me to be schooled in the ways of magic. She was interested in sending me to Ilvermorny. But dad was not so sure -- what would he tell his non-magical family? The solution for them was to send me to Hogwarts. Now they can simply tell my father's relatives that I am living with my Aunt Gwenydd and Uncle Mervin in England for school, so that my parents can continue to travel for work.

Before Hogwarts, I never used a wand or flew a broomstick or read a magical book.
Now, I practice charms and wand movements every day.
Now, I fly on my broomstick like a quidditch player.
Now, I am writing a book in the library.
I am a witch!!

In real life, I live with a husband, a big black cat, and a new tortoise kitten on the East Coast, USA. I love plants, fungi, hiking, photography, astronomy, history, and planning HP parties with my two sisters and our friends. I was a teacher for 7 years. I have traveled in London, Spain, Mexico, and Canada.
