Backstory

Hello! As you probably saw, my name is Henry! I'm actually from America (New York City to be exact) but my family had to move to London because of my dad's job. So I ended up here! I am actually quite excited to be here because I've always loved to learn and my mom always told me about bits and pieces of her time at Ilvermorny and I always wanted an experience like that. But anyway some of my favorite magical subjects are definitely the Dark Arts and potions. Potions because my uncle would teach me about some of the magical potions that he knew whenever my family stayed at his lake house for the summer. And I know the Dark Arts is a little taboo but I've always had an interest in it. I just want to understand why people are so afraid of it and if we can find a way to properly live along side it without having to shy away. Anyway before this turns into a ramble I'll just end this post here. I hope to meet some really interesting people at my time in Hogwarts!
