Backstory

(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter, I was confused on what to think. My adopted mum was a muggle who knew about my parents and my special talents. She always let me explore the magic in my heritage. The look on her face was priceless when I recieved my letter, she was stunned that it was time for me to leave already. We lived in a small London apartment not far from Diagon Alley. Gathering up my things for Hogwarts was easy enough, but choosing the right cat was the hardest part. In the back of the shop, was a beautiful black cat with stunning eyes. I connected with her as soon as I saw her eyes. At least I would have one friend at Hogwarts. When it came time for my departure, I cried a little. I had never been from my mum for long. I knew I wanted to make her proud while I was here.
