Backstory

On my arrival at Hogwarts four years ago, when I was in a state of awe at the size of the castle, I was sorted into Hufflepuff almost as soon as the hat touched my head. I believe it's because of my dedication and knack for finding things that I ended up in my house, but I couldn't be happier, or prouder. I'm a muggle-born student, which I personally think is very interesting! I've been bullied for it by some students in the past, but I didn't let it get to me. After all, isn't it pretty special that my magic came out of nowhere? My favourite class is History of Magic, as it has been since the summer before I first came to Hogwarts. I love hearing about the facts and theories and combining them to come up with my own ideas about how things in the past happened. I remember curling up in a treehouse that summer, reading and re-reading 'A History of Magic' with my dog sprawled in the sun until my parents had to come looking for me. My dog is the one thing (apart from my parents, of course!) that I truly miss when I'm at Hogwarts. I'm usually having way too much fun exploring to think about home! His name is Roo, and I wish I could bring him with me. However, I do have a small owl that I can bring to school with me, so I don't ever feel too lonely, even when my friends are busy! I love sneaking him small tidbits that I've picked up from the feasts in the great hall, but don't tell anyone!
