Alissa Avery

Backstory

I grew up with my dad in London, went to the usual elementary school and when I wasn't in my school hours my father and I would do as many adventurous things we could. We went traveling to islands and climbed mountains and sometimes pulled pranks on the nearby grouchy neighbors. I couldn't believe the day a stranger came knocking on our door asking for me, holding a letter within their hand. My father immediately asked me to get behind him not knowing who this person was and how they knew my name but he let her explain before turning her around. After being told I was a wizard and I had the opportunity to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I almost lost it. I got to open the letter and read how I Alissa Avery had been accepted into a school of magic. Things started to make sense to my father and I and soon enough we were down in Diagon Alley in London finding myself robes, a wand, books and parchment not to mention a Bengal cat which I named Missy. After saying my goodbyes to my father and his girlfriend who I knew would keep him company I climbed onto the Hogwarts Express and took my seat. I met a few people and got to see the craziest of things like moving pictures inside of chocolate frog containers. When we reached the school I was amazed climbing onto the boat and making my way to the magnificent castle ahead of me. Sitting in the dining hall, admiring the floating candles, I was sorted into Gryffindor after a while of the hats thinking. My favorite classes are potions and defense against the dark arts and I love watching quittage and I hope to play on it someday. I also love walking the school grounds and reading in the library. I know Hogwarts will be my next great adventure!
