Backstory
I was sorted into Slytherin for, obviously, my ambition and cunning. Don't think I'm just a stereotypical Slytherin, though (actually, don't think ANY Slytherin is a "stereotypical" Slytherin.) I was actually a hatstall between Hufflepuff and Slytherin (Slytherpuff and proud). In the end, Slytherin was chosen over Hufflepuff because I prefer to manipulate events from the background to benefit myself and my friends, and am highly ambitious in everything I do, especially when it comes to improving myself and others and trying to become the best in my field of interest. It was rather difficult at first, for a half-blood in Slytherin, but my father is a famous curse breaker and adventurer, so that helped me fit in among my peers. Additionally, my mother, while a muggle, is just as good at finance as any goblin, and garnered respect from some of my more pureblood-centered classmates that way. As a half-blood, however, it was not safe for my family and I to stay in the UK, and we moved to live with my Aunts and Uncles in America. I started the first two years of my magical education at Ilvermorny, where I was a Wampus, before transferring to Hogwarts. My favorite subjects have always been Defense Against the Dark Arts, Ancient Runes, and Care of Magical Creatures, followed by Astronomy, Herbology, and Charms. Transfiguration and potions are also interesting, though I am far better at the practical than theoretical. The less said about Divination and Arithmancy, the better. My greatest strengths are my determination, cunning, and imagination. I was ranked one of the top duelists due to my creative use of spells like Avis and Accio. However, I can admittedly be very stubborn and easily angered when someone insults something/someone I care about, and am hopeless at almost anything involving mathematics, such as Arithmancy.I am in my 6th year of schooling, and have already been accepted into an apprenticeship at a dragon reserve under their leading dragonologist. I have always been fascinated by all magical creatures, though dragons have always been my favorite. My apprenticeship will officially begin once I graduate, and will last five years. After that, I will be a certified dragonologist and will continue advancing my degree in dragonology while also expanding my knowledge of all creatures. Magic has always especially fascinated me, especially in how it can create such amazing things from nothing or ordinary objects, as well as all the people and creatures that have been shaped by magic. I don't particularly want to use magic any way - I just want to use it. I'll naturally use it to help myself, of course, but I also don't mind using it to help out others, if the situation arises. I also am the proud owner (well, I'm pretty sure he thinks he owns me) of a magnificent Great Horned Owl named Tyr, after the Norse god of sky and justice. My patronus is, rather embarrassingly, an orangutan, and my wand is made of Larch wood with a phoenix feather core, 13" long and slightly springy with fair flexibility.
