Ryan (Emily) Rider

Backstory

My name is Ryan, technically it's Emily - but most people call me Ryan now. And yes, contrary to popular belief, I am in fact female. I'm not a guy with a girly voice. Just a female with a not so feminine name.

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, with my mum, dad, and younger brother. My mother attended Mahoutokoro in Japan. My father is a muggle and studies zoology.
He inspired me to research magical creatures, especially the dangerous ones.

Since there are no magic school in Canada I got to board at Ilvermorny. After a year they recommended me for Hogwarts and here I am!
While at Ilvermorny I met a little friend who I named Shizu. He's just an ordinary rat-- minus the longer life span. He helps with my anxiety, and I need him as much as he needs me. Which is why he's usually with me, even during classes.
