Backstory

Born to Woodrow and Mandy Lawson on July 28th in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, UK, Abigail is an only child. Woodrow was a Muggle, while Mandy was a Witch. Mandy was a Curse-Breaker who was killed on the job when Abigail was about four. Mandy introduced Woodrow to the Magical world when they first got married. Out of Mandy’s five siblings, four of them were squibs, so Mandy didn’t want Abigail introduced to the Magical world until she was eleven. Abigail had a few friends in the Magical world unknowingly, however, because they were children of Mandy’s friends and colleagues.

When the letter to Hogwarts came, Abigail was perplexed as she had noticed strange things happening but never paid much attention or attributed them to natural phenomena. She went with her father and some Wizarding friends to Diagon Alley. The hardest part of the day of boarding the train was trying to convince Abigail to run through a brick wall. Some of Abigail friends became distant after the sorting ceremony, especially some of the ones sorted into Gryffindor. Abigail didn’t care, if you are going to judge people for the reputation of their house, she doesn’t want you as a friend.

Abigail loves Hogwarts but stays in constant contact with her Muggle friends back home. Woodrow makes her take Muggle classes during the summer, so she can fit into to both worlds. Abigail would like to be either an Auror or a Cursebreaker in the future. She hasn't decided yet.

Abigail is five foot seven and about 130 pounds. She has amber skin and chesnut eyes, Her hair is a dirty blonde at waist length. She often wears it in a braid or a ponytail. She is also ambidextrous.
