With my mum being a witch and my dad a muggle, things are a little rough. Dad is open-minded, willing to accept magic and all but he's a more... Practical kinda guy. On the other hand my mum loves anything science related, but with magic you can't exactly explain everything. I remember she always used to tell me, "Magic is just science that has yet to be explained." And it was with these conflicting ideas that I was sent off to Hogwarts with. First year was rough, I was very talkative and open but not many people agreed with me. Some would tease me and compare me to one of a few Ravenclaw stereotypes: Strange and quirky. Those who I thought were friends were really just dealing with me to be nice, and by my second year reality began to set in a bit more. I learned to restrain myself, and I did earn a couple friends that stuck with me until year three, and that's when things went downhill. I used to be naive, but now I was older, and I understood what the teasing meant. I knew what they were trying to do, and what their mean words were aimed at and it got to my head. I believed them, and I became a cold outer shell of who I used to be. That's when I met my two best friends that have stuck with me until now, in my fourth year, and broke through that cold shell to reveal the cheerful, positive person I truly am. I love reading and learning, and you'll more often than not find me in the library. You'll never find me without a quill and parchment on hand, and drawing is favorite pastime of mine. I try to keep a positive attitude and I absolutely LOVE talking, but when it comes to picking up on social cues I'm a little rusty, so feel free to keep me in check! Charms and Potions are two of my favorite classes, I always put 110% effort into them. Thanks for reading, and I hope we can chat sometime soon!
