Backstory

I'm a halfblood, but funnily enough, it was my muggle-born parent who made me love magic. My dad gave me a love of fairy tales and fantasy novels while my mom used magic to organize her office work. She works at the ministry in the department of magical law, so the exciting parts of magic I learned from muggle stories. Of course, she told me the Tales of Beedle the Bard, which I mixed up with muggle fairy tales. Sometimes, playing with my muggle cousins, I forgot they wouldn't know those stories. When I got my Hogwarts letter, I was beyond excited, of course. Before I left, my dad tucked a copy of Grimm's fairy tales into my backpack, and even though I can do all the magic in the stories, I still find comfort in the muggle awe of magic.
