Backstory

When I got my letter I was so thrilled. My parents were Hogwarts sweethearts, Everyone said a Gryffindor and a Slytherin are doomed to be a failing relationship, but not only did they survive the last 4 years of schooling together but right after graduation they ran off and got eloped (my Grandma Fletcher always though my Father deserved a pureblooded slytherin to keep the family "whole") After a few years of struggling to keep on their feet and make things work (my mother comes from a modest family with not much to their name and my dad was cut off as soon as he ran off to get married) they finally managed to scrape enough together to get approved for a loan from Gringotts to open up a shop in Diagon Alley. While not the most popular shop around, my parents were able to scrape by long enough to make a profit and to this day while not the highest grossing shop, we've never had to go hungry or without a roof over our head. after their first year of making a profit, they decided it was time to take the next step in life, build a family. That's how I came into the picture.following in the footsteps of my mothers parents, they marched down to the local orphanage and began filling out paperwork. I dont really know how they decided I was the perfect match for their little family, I was always an odd and interesting child. I dont remember much from that place, Just that I was happy to be out. It didnt take long for me to realize that this was where I was meant to be. I could go over my childhood, but really it was nothing special, my dad embraced my dark side helping me find my collection of rat skulls and taking me to old scary movies that mom hated me seeing. My mom Embraced my bravery and curiosity always taking me on adventures and constantly pulling me away from random fights that I always seemed to get involved with. It was a shock to all of us when on my first day of school i was sorted into not Gryffindor or Slytherin, but Hufflepuff!! This is bound to be an interesting experiance.
