Backstory

I have always known that there was something different about me. As a young girl, strange things would happen whenever I was feeling particularly angry, upset, or happy. Maybe a vase would fall off the table, or a water bottle would explode. Whatever it was, I was never able to explain it. That is, until I received my letter from Hogwarts. At first I was confused and a little doubtful. I mean come on? Magic doesn't exist in real life. However, I sent a letter back with the owl that delivered the acceptance letter, and soon a small tabby kitten arrived on my doorstep. With it was a small note that said "Meet the rest of your class at Diagon Alley at 11:00 o'clock tomorrow". I didn't understand why, but both my parents and I were immediately convinced that this was a completely safe thing. We showed up the next morning carefully following the instructions that we received on how to get there. I was introduced to fellow wizards and witches and was quickly convinced that I should go to Hogwarts. I have since been the top of my class in all of my classes and loved every bit of magic that I have discovered. I have a certain knack for care of magical creatures, as I have always felt particularly close to all animals, but I feel that I am good in all subjects.
