Marigold Cross

Backstory

Marigold is in her 5th year of Hogwarts and is a bisexual half-blood who lives with her dad, who is a Muggle, in Blackpool. She spends most of her days with her friends during free periods and she enjoys reading and writing books. She likes Astronomy, Transfiguration and Defence Against the Dark Arts very much.

Her father, Gerard Cross, has dedicated his life to studying Astronomy and Marigold feels like it'd be nice to learn about what he enjoys so much.

Marigold's mother died when she was very young, and sadly she doesn't remember much of her. Her mother was a pure-blood witch and she had been a Ravenclaw named Adelle Stewart. Her mother had been friends with Regulus Black and Andromeda Black back when they were attending Hogwarts.

Her friendships are quite complicated due to the fact that she usually hung around with the likes of Blaise Zabini and Draco Malfoy (solely because they were in her house and weren't as annoying as some others), who tended to dislike witches and wizards who were muggle-borns, but she also enjoyed the company of Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood (who, clearly, didn't care about blood status and were proud of being friends with muggle-borns.) Hardly any of the prejudiced Slytherins know that she lives with her muggle dad. Marigold herself couldn't care less what blood-status you are. If you're decent to her, she's decent to you.
