Backstory

Hi there, I'm Katie!
When the owl came on March 8th, at first I didn’t know what was going on.
I assumed it was all just a big joke, you know?
My older brother and sister sometimes played pranks on me, or blamed me whenever weird stuff happened around the house.
I mean, honestly, how was I supposed to know that most people couldn't just grow a pair of wings whenever they wanted to fly?
Anyway, my parents were planning to go shopping in London later that day anyway, and they figured they would humor me.
I will never forget the looks on their faces when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead!
The innkeeper was a bit weird, but friendly, and there were a large family of mostly redheads that helped us find our way into and around the Alley too.
The coolest part of Diagon Alley was visiting Ollivander's!
My wand is made of rosewood and unicorn hair, and I absolutely love it!
I wonder how many spells I can test out with it in the six months I have before September 1st....
