Backstory
Sorted into Ravenclaw (after nearly accomplishing a hat stall between Slytherin and Ravenclaw), Amaris (Full name Amaris Ondina Catriona) values learning about magic and knowledge above all other aspects. Cunning, ambitious, and intelligent, Amaris excels in the classes she is interested in and has achieved many great wizarding feats (like becoming an unregistered animangus during her seventh year at Hogwarts, form of a snowy winter fox, and becoming quidditch team captain her 7th year). Her favorite class remains to be charms, and her least favorite herbology, as she is extremely allergic to most magical plants. A halfblood, with a muggle father and magical mother, she was raised by both parents with magic and muggle cultures emphasized during her childhood; her proudest moment was receiving her Hogwarts acceptance letter. Before attending the prestigious school, she traveled the world with her parents and two siblings. They never really had a home, since they went somewhere new nearly every month, so Hogwarts is the only home she's ever known. In addition, her greatest weakness is a tendency to lose her wand. Her friends have perfected the locating spell that finds the lost item. Also, when Amaris finished school, she became a travel writer--narrating and describing wizarding landmarks of the world through the magic of words and continuing exploring her love for travel. In possession of a barn owl, she sends her writings to the Daily Prophet and other wizarding magazines in her quest to create awareness of all the wizarding sites (her favorite being the magical creature preserve off the coast of Ireland). With her white blond hair, grey eyes, charming wit, and redwood wand (13 inches with Unicorn Tail essence), she hopes to accomplish many feats during her lifetime.
