Backstory

(Younger Student)

Umm hi, I'm Poppy Iomhair and When I received my Hogwarts Letter, I was absolutely terrified.

This all came about because I was scared about which house I was going to be put in, my mother was in Ravenclaw and my father was in Slytherin. What made this matter even worst is that my Oldest brother Zaire was places in Slytherin following my fathers foot steps, and my other brother Akseli was placed in Ravenclaw.

Which this so far doesn't seem that bad right? Well it feels pretty bad when you know you're probably not going to be places in neither of these houses because they just both don't seem like me. But when I told my mother this she just brushed it off saying that I'm just working myself up.

That just made me roll my eyes and say whatever, knowing that she is wrong but I didn't feel like arguing with her and having her not letting me eat sweets for a week! Which isn't fair what so ever.

But anyway moving on with the story and let's skip all the way to the day I got sorted in to my wonderful house. When the hat was on my head I was sitting here for a good 4 minutes arguing with the hat about how I should be in Ravenclaw but it keep saying that I belong in Hufflepuff and that it was the perfect house for me and it would help me succeed.

Now as you can tell in the end I did end up finally giving in and just accepted that I am a Hufflepuff and that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my house, but the thing is my parents thought so.

It took a good few weeks before they came around and accepted that I got into Hufflepuff and there is nothing that they could do or say anymore about it.

So in the end all is good and well and I'm loving my house!
