Backstory

I never really knew about this world until I got my hogwarts letter, even though I was obviously destined for magic. My family is magic, but not in the way you think. My Mum is a squib so they were worried I might inherit the... squibness? (Can you even get that through your parents?)
Anyway, recently mum had gotten into spirit animals and crystals, trying to connect with angels, and dad has a prediction. Dad has always known when something bad would happen and it wasn't until later that I knew why. He's a seer. Not the 'I see you will die in 10 days' type of seer, but he always seems to know when something bad is going to happen.

Awkward.

So imagine my surprise when dad has a prediction while mum is meditating and an owl shows up! I've never believed in magic. At least not the flying, spell casting, type of magic.

To be honest, I still can't believe it's real!
