"I've lived my entire life with my mother in a lake-side hut among muggles. Ma is a half-siren and she often tells stories about my grandma. They sound like fairytales to me as I have never met grandma. I would have not believed those tales were it not for the blue scales that cover Ma's neck, shoulders and hips.
"I can't remember my time with Da very well. He hardly ever comes home. Ma always says my passion for adventure takes from Da.
"I've been helping Ma a lot with brewing potions that cure the sleepless. It's what we do for a living. We're known in the muggle world as specialists that cure insomnia. We do more for the wizarding world though. As I grow older, Ma teaches me how to cast magic by singing, the way grandma and her kind does. She doesn't need to use a wand to cast spells. And this is how we serve the magical world, by singing their nightmares away and sometimes creating sweet dreams that last throughout their sleep. We're known as the dreamweavers in the magical world.
"On the day I turned eleven, I received my acceptance letter to Hogwarts and have since moved into the Ravenclaw dormitory. I am now an official Hogwarts student and am ready to begin my journey to learn more about witchcraft and wizardry.
