Backstory
I was sorted into to Gryffindor, and I was honestly surprised and slightly disappointed at first, but I have fallen in love with my house and I could not be happier now.The sorting hat took a minute or two to choose which house for me. The options were obviously Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, and then the hat decided on Gryffindor. I really enjoy Transfiguration and Defence Against the Dark Arts so far. Plants are not really my specialty, so I don't exactly like Herbology. I didn't like Herbology, but I still did well in that class. I am a proud muggle-born, and it was very surprising when I got my letter. I've heard rude comments floating around about my blood at Hogwarts, but nothing too bad, and it doesn't affect me much. It was honestly pretty scary because You-Know-Who was trying to get rid of people like me, but I tried to help out in any way possible. My greatest strength is definitely my friends and family. I definitely do better when I'm around others. My greatest weakness is my friends and family also, which is kind of ironic. I have always been a bit protective of the people I love, and I would definitely die in order to save any of them without a doubt. When I finish school, I am looking forward to starting my own life. I have always dreamed of having a family of my own. I either want to be an Auror or a professor when I graduate. I want to help others and make a difference in the lives of others, and those two professions would let me do just that. I think the most fascinating aspect of magic is probably just simple spells to get one through the day. They may not seem too important, but one can do wonders with just the simplest things. I want to use my magic to help others. I want to make a difference in the lives of others and I want the wizarding world to become safer and better for people without pure magic blood like me. I have a long-haired tabby named Athena and she is probably one of the smartest and bravest cats I have ever met, which is why I named her after the Greek Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy. My family is basically just the average muggle family. My father owns a local car dealership and my mother is a nurse at one of the hospitals from where I live. I have a brother that is three years younger than me, and he has actually shown some signs of magic, so he someday might be roaming the halls of Hogwarts like me one day.
