Backstory

I still remember when I first arrived at Hogwarts, being awed by the size of the place. The land surrounding it. The great hall. The Quidditch field. I spent days after being sorted into Slytherin spending my time exploring all corners of the castle, and in my seventh year I still don't think I've found all the secrets. Eventually I managed to settle in, and then I became amazed by entirely new things. The classes we studied were so detailed and interesting! I never much liked Herbology or Study of Magical Creatures, but there were plenty of other classes that intrigued me to no end. I wasn't very skilled at first, but I've been working on it and I can do pretty well in a lot of advanced subjects now. And thank goodness for that. As a pureblooded Slytherin, all my classmates and family have had high expectations of me for a very long time. Don't tell anyone, but I've spent my free time learning parseltongue! I'm not great at it, but I had some ancestors who were naturally gifted, so the possibility is in my blood. I also seem to have an odd affinity for dragons... My wand is even dragon heartstring. Perhaps when I graduate I'll study the effects of different wand cores on various types of magic? I've always been interested in that. And it'll mean I can take my cat with me to work. Corvus is a cutie.
