Ivy Malfoy

Backstory

I, Ivy Malfoy, am a first year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, and I come from a long line of pureblood Slytherins, except my mother and Maddox, my brother, but I was the second in my family to be chosen for Ravenclaw. My older brother Sebastian was the first. I enjoy all my classes, although some of them are a little boring sometimes. I am a very determined, exemplary student, and I was born in London, England, to my parents, Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Granger-Weasley Malfoy. My grandmother, Astoria Greengrass, became sick and died when my father, Scorpius, was a child. I sometimes like to use her last name as well to remember that she is always with me. I have two older brothers, Sebastian and Maddox, and an older sister, Parker. My mother, Rose Granger-Weasley Malfoy, was a Gryffindor, but my father was in Slytherin. My mother is a half-blood, because she was born from a Muggle-born witch, my grandmother (Hermione Granger-Weasley), who was brilliant and knew every spell in the books. Her father, Ron Weasley, is a pureblood. My grandfather and my grandmother were best friends in their years at Hogwarts and become more than friends in their last year.

My wand is a Hawthorne wood wand, unyielding flexibility, 11 and a quarter inch, with dragon heartstring. I take my studies very seriously, and will never waver to go to any means to achieve my academic goals. That ambitious side of myself was what made the Sorting Hat consider me for Slytherin, but in the end, I was chosen for Ravenclaw because of my intelligence and craving for knowledge. As a child, I would constantly read every book in the family library, and I would take notes so that I could use them for my home lessons from my mother, who is very smart. My mother developed her aptitude for learning from her mother, my grandmother. I also did so, as I have an enormous aptitude for knowledge in general.

I have been waiting excitedly to attend Hogwarts and plan to achieve academic records put in place by my grandmother, Hermione Granger-Weasley. I can't wait and hope that this school year proves successful!
